ICYMI: UnREAL Picked Up For Season Three and More TV News

Jun 03, 2016 by Sling Staff

Just a day after Cleverman premiered in U.S., SundanceTV has picked it up for a second season. Deadline

A new Marvel show is finding a home outside of the Disney/ABC wheel: FX has picked up Legion, an X-Men-themed series starring Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens. This is the first Marvel live-action series on cable. Deadline

HBO announced several of their highly-anticipated shows are set to hit the small screen in the fall: Westworld, starring Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, and James Marsden; Divorce, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Thomas Haden Church and Molly Shannon; Insecure, which centers on two black women and their friendship as they navigate life; and High Maintenance, starring Ben Sinclair, which follows a Brooklyn weed dealer that delivers to clients with neuroses as diverse as New York City itself. Deadline

Season two of UnREAL kicks off June 6th, but Lifetime has already announced its renewal for season three, which comes as no surprise after Constance Zimmer won a Critics' Choice Award for performance as Quinn in season one. Variety
