SundanceTV’s new comedy Hap and Leonard has been picked up for a second season. The sophomore season will run just six episodes set to debut sometime in 2017. Variety
TV Land has completed the main casting for their remake of the iconic film First Wives Club, which originally starred Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton. Vanessa Lachey, Alyson Hannigan and Megan Hilty have been cast as the three leads. Deadline
CMT confirms Nashville stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere will return for season five as they find their new home on the Country Music Television network after being let go by ABC. Deadline
VH1 is jumping into the live late-night arena with a new weekly entertainment talk show hosted by Marc Lamont Hill and is scheduled to premiere July 17 at 10pm ET. Hill’s previously known for his work on CNN and BET News. Deadline
