May 10, 2016 by Scott Ross

#3 Oklahoma City Thunder vs. #2 San Antonio Spurs, Series tied 2-2 (8pm ET Tuesday, TNT)

With his team trailing the San Antonio Spurs by 2 with 9:53 to play in the game, Kevin Durant went on an 8-point run that covered 78 seconds, and put the Oklahoma City Thunder ahead for good, as Durant would go on the score 9 more in the final frame to lead his team to a 111-97 victory.

Durant, not surprisingly, led all scorers with 41 points on 14-of-25 shooting, but Russell Westbrook’s shooting woes continued, as he hit on just 5 of 18 for 14 points, though he did managed to dish out 15 assists and pull down 7 rebounds. Steven Adams had another big night for OKC, posting 16-11.

San Antonio was off their game, managing just 12 assists, and they were able to hit on just 2 of 12 from downtown. Tony Parker led the Spurs with 22, Kawhi Leonard had 21, and LaMarcus Aldridge had 20, but the three of them collectively had just 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Tim Duncan continues to be a non-factor, going scoreless in 12 minutes, while grabbing just 3 rebounds. For the series, he’s averaging just 3-4-1, while playing 19 minutes a game.

Watch the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. the San Antonio Spurs at 8pm ET Tuesday on TNT.
