David Schwimmer (Friends) and Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe) are set to star in a new AMC original drama called ‘Feed The Beast.’ The new show is based off the Danish TV series Bankerot, which centers around two friends (Schwimmer and Sturgess), but one has a hard time staying out of trouble. With nothing to lose and no other options, the two friends have no choice but to jump head-first into their dream of opening an upscale restaurant in the Bronx. While opening a business is hard enough, the entrepreneurs must navigate the industry’s dark corners filled with petty criminals, corrupt officials, and violent mobsters. (AMC)

“Weird” Al Yankovic is heading to IFC as the new co-host and bandleader of Comedy Bang Bang. Weird Al will be taking the position from last season’s bandleader and co-host, Kid Cudi. This will mark Weird Al’s first return to a weekly TV show since The Weird Al Show in 1997. (Deadline)

EPIX’s new six-part documentary series ‘The 4%: Film’s Gender Problem’ will debut, appropriately, on March 8th, which is also International Women’s Day. The series consists of six five-minute episodes about the struggle of gender diversity in Hollywood, and will air across all of EPIX’s platforms. (Deadline)

The first trailer for the new HBO animated series Animals was released this week. Created by the Duplass brothers, who also created HBO’s Togetherness – focuses on the lives and struggles of the creatures of New York City, including rats, dogs, pigeons, horse, and bedbugs. (IndieWire)

Fans of Adult Swim’s Dinner with Family with Brett Gelman and Brett Gelman’s Family can expect to see more Dinner this year on Adult Swim. At the Sundance Festival, Brett Gelman spilled the beans on Brett Gelman’s Dinner in America and will be focused on racial issues. (Deadline)

Despite getting an order from HBO in April of last year, Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin’s (The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon) Brothers In Atlanta comedy series has been canned by the network. Though it was ordered in April 2015, the show had been in the works for several years, and the Lorne Michaels-produced show no longer fits into HBO’s game plan. (Deadline)

Despite being a new mom, Mila Kunis has managed to find time to continue her work with her production company Orchard Farms, which now has a new show in development by Freeform. Hunted follows a young mother on the run after her husband is murdered and has Ed Bernero (Criminal Minds) attached as director and showrunner. (Deadline)

History’s new military drama ‘Six’ has cast its antagonist, Devious Maids alum Dominic Adams. A+E Studios has partnered with The Weinstein Company to bring to TV a series following the Navy SEAL Team Six, who was given the task of bringing down the Al Qaeda’s most elusive leader. But, things go south when they discover an American citizen working with the terrorists. (Deadline)
