David Schwimmer (Friends) and Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe) are set to star in a new AMC original drama called ‘Feed The Beast.’ The new show is based off the Danish TV series Bankerot, which centers around two friends (Schwimmer and Sturgess), but one has a hard time staying out of trouble. With nothing to lose and no other options, the two friends have no choice but to jump head-first into their dream of opening an upscale restaurant in the Bronx. While opening a business is hard enough, the entrepreneurs must navigate the industry’s dark corners filled with petty criminals, corrupt officials, and violent mobsters. (AMC)
“Weird” Al Yankovic is heading to IFC as the new co-host and bandleader of Comedy Bang Bang. Weird Al will be taking the position from last season’s bandleader and co-host, Kid Cudi. This will mark Weird Al’s first return to a weekly TV show since The Weird Al Show in 1997. (Deadline)
EPIX’s new six-part documentary series ‘The 4%: Film’s Gender Problem’ will debut, appropriately, on March 8th, which is also International Women’s Day.
