Bless Sophie Turner and her accidental word vomit on the Oscars Red Carpet. Thanks to Sophie, – aka Sansa Stark – we can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Sansa is safe at least through the end of season six. (Vanity Fair)

Nicole Scherzinger and Sarah Hyland have joined the cast of ABC’s Dirty Dancing remake. Scherzinger is set to play Penny while Hyland will take on the role of Lisa Houseman, and is joining Abigail Breslin, who is playing the lead female role of Baby. (Deadline)

Following in her Full House big sister’s footsteps, who placed third on season 18, Jodie Sweetin has announced she will be competing in the 22nd cycle of Dancing With The Stars on ABC. (EW)

Disney has announced a nationwide casting call for High School Musical 4. The Disney Channel Original Movie franchise concluded in 2008 with third installment, but only the first one included all of the original cast members. Needless to say, we’re excited to see who gets cast, considering the first film brought us Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale. (EW)

AMC has greenlighted a new drama series called The Terror, based on the 2007 bestselling novel of the same name. The show will follow a Royal Naval expedition crew searching for the Northwest Passage in 1847. The crew is attacked by a mysterious monster that stalks the ships and their crews. (Deadline)

Disney XD is bringing the Academy-Award winning animated film Big Hero 6 to the small screen in a new animated series. Set to arrive in 2017, the series will continue the adventure and friendship of a 14-year-old tech genius who build a robot named Baymax. (Deadline)

Freeform has acquired the latest installment in Warner Brothers' Cinderella series, A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits. The installment is set to premiere later this year and will star Sophia Carson (Austin & Ally) as Tessa, who is forced to accompany her evil stepmother, played by Jennifer Tilly (Liar Liar, Monsters Inc.), and stepsisters to a Cinderella competition and work as an assistant. Freeform is developing a drama series about the disappearance of Grand Duchess Anastasia in 1917 during the Bolshevik revolution. Coming from McG (Charlie’s Angels, This Means War), the series would be set in the roaring 1920s and reimagine Anastasia after she escaped from Communist Russia with her sights set on avenging her family’s death. She finds herself teamed up with an elite espionage agency working to prevent another world war, making her the world’s first female spy. Deadline

If you were looking forward to getting some hints about season six of Game of Thrones or even find some leaked episodes before the premiere, you’re out of luck this year. HBO is taking extreme precaution to avoid leaks and spoilers of the new season and has decided against giving news outlets screeners this year. Bummer. (EW)

Cult Adult Swim comedy Rick and Morty announced back in January that its third season will be extended to 14 episodes instead of the usual 10. Until the premiere of season three, we can take comfort in knowing that voice recording for the animated series has begun, and that a specific episode is going to “knock our dicks off.” A.V. Club
