Disney Jr. has ordered two new series: Vampirina and Puppy Dog Tails. Vampirina is based off the book series Vampirina Ballerina about a young vampire girl, who moves from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. Puppy Dog Tails centers on two young pug puppies named Bingo and Rolly, whose sense of adventure takes them on new journeys every day. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is continuing her love affair with HBO, but this time she’ll be behind the camera. The Veep star is producing a miniseries called ‘Soldier Girls, which is based off of the 2014 non-fiction book called, Soldier Girls: The Battles of Three Women at Home and at War by Helen Thorpe. The series will tell the real-life stories of three women who enlist in the Nation Guard and become friends while they serve their country during the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. (Deadline)

After seven seasons, creator and executive producer Rob Corddry is pulling the plug on Children’s Hospital. The 15-minute, Emmy-winning Adult Swim show debuted in 2008 and has featured Megan Mullally, Lake Bell, Malin Ackerman, Henry Winkler, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Nick Kroll, Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
