National Geographic Channel is giving Bill O’Reilly’s book Killing Reagan a small-screen adaptation. It will star Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon as Nancy Reagan and Animal House’s Tim Matheson as the Gipper himself. Deadline

FOX has released the first teaser for the thirteenth season of its hit dance competition show So You Think You Can Dance, however, this season will focus only on children ages 8 to 13. SYTYCD: Next Generation will have the same judges as the previous regular season which includes Paula Abdul, Jason Derulo and Executive Producer Nigel Lithgoe with the addition of Dance Mom’s Maddie Ziegler. Among the new content on its way is Jon Glaser Loves Gear, where the comedian-actor tinkers with all sorts of gadgets, gizmos and thingamabobs; Impractical Jokers Live Event Special, which will be a two-hour live special to air this fall; I’m Sorry, which comes from the gentlemen in The Lonely Island and is a scripted comedy series about a seemingly well put-together comedy writer, wife and mom whose true colors are shown after life throws her curveball after curveball. HISTORY has announced a premiere date for their newest scripted drama, Barbarians Rising, which will air June 6. The new show is centered around the rise and fall of the Roman empire and the rebellions that occurred for centuries. Deadline

FX announced it has began the formal script production for the long-rumored Sons of Anarchy spin-off, which has been given the titled Mayans MC. The project is said to be a dark drama that takes a deeper look into the Mayan family from SOA, but through a Latino lens. Deadline

Adult Swim has announced new titles set to make their way to the small screen in the near future: Robot Chicken: The Walking Dead, Dream Corp, LLC, and Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace as well as three pilots: Art Prison, Lazor Wulf, and Chuck Deuce. There is also a slew of online programming in the works, including Stupid Morning Bullshit, Crosswords, Call of Karaoke, and Sports Bitches. Deadline

FOX has released a first look of Laverne Cox in costume as Dr. Frank-N-Furter – originally played by Tim Curry, who will assume the role of the narrator – for the live presentation of the cult classic film Rocky Horror Picture Show, which is set to air later this year. Deadline
