So far, 2016 seems to be the year of our new favorite power couple, Samantha Bee and Jason Jones. TBS announced an order for a lot more Full Frontal with Samantha Bee with plans for it to run at least through the end of the calendar year. Not to be completely outdone, Jason’s new TBS show The Detour, which premieres Monday, April 11, has already been renewed for a second season. (Deadline)

HBO is taking a page out of AMC’s book by starting up a post-show talk show to discuss the events of their hottest show Game of Thrones. After the Thrones will be hosted by Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan, where they will recap the just-aired episode and diving deep into any and every theory as season six unravels each week. (Deadline)

The newest season of Conan will kick off with the show’s first visit to New York in six years. He will spend a week’s worth of shows at Harlem’s Apollo Theater starting October 31 - November 3. On Saturday, April 10, his trip to South Korea will be telecast on TBS at 11pm ET. (Deadline)

Freeform has ordered to series a drama based on Rebecca Serle’s novel of the same name, Famous In Love. The show will star Bella Thorne as Paige, a normal college student who gets her big break in a Hollywood blockbuster and must deal with juggling her new star-studded life and chemistry with her two co-stars while managing the good and bad of being famous. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are at it again. After bringing Preacher to the small screen via AMC, – which is set to premiere this May – Cinemax has picked up another comic series called The Boys. The drama is based on a comic book series that centers around superheros who are corrupt from their celebrity status and find themselves engaging in reckless behavior that compromises the safety of the world. To get a handle on these superheros enters a secret CIA group called “the boys,” whose job is to keep them in line and, if necessary, eliminate them. Rogen and Goldberg, who directed the pilot of Preacher, are set to direct. (Deadline)

HBO’s Westworld production has resumed after going on hiatus in January of this year so the executive producers could finish off the final scripts for the first season. The show has also cast HBO veteran, Lili Simmons of True Detective. She has joined the cast as Abigail, a person/robot who works in the robot cowboy theme park, using “her good looks and charm to lure Westworld guests into the saloon.” (AV Club)

It’s closing time for Khloe Kardashian and her attempt at a new, fresh talk show. Kocktails with Khloe has been cancelled by FYI after 14 episodes. The show will end its run on April 20th with an episode featuring Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. (Deadline)

HBO has released a new clip of Game of Thrones along with the season six premiere episode title and description. “The Red Woman” is set to premiere on April 24, and the description confirms the first episode back will show the developments following the season five finale as well as bring back familiar faces who forge new alliances for survival and introduce new characters to switch the balance of power across all kingdoms.
