The first Game of Thrones season six trailer was released this week, and it was more confusing than enlightening, but if it doesn’t get you pumped for what’s coming this season, nothing will. (Vanity Fair)

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are back for the reboot of everyone’s favorite animated crime-fighting trio: the Powerpuff Girls. The series is set to return in the spring, so until then, we’ll have to settle for listening to the new theme song on repeat. (Deadline)

Kerry Washington is already getting Emmy buzz for her role in the new HBO film Confirmation, which tells the story of Anita Hill’s (Washington) testimony during Supremere Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ sexual assault confirmation hearings. This first trailer was released this week, featuring a cast that also includes Greg Kinnear, Wendell Pierce and Jennifer Hudson. (Vanity Fair)

The cast of the Big Bang Theory will be joining Conan to celebrate reaching a big TV milestone: the 200th episode. The Conan show will air February 24th, the day before the 200th episode airs. (Deadline)

HBO and Cinemax will premiere some of their most anticipated new series, like Danny McBride’s Vice Principals and The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman’s Outcast, at this year’s SXSW festival. Along with those premieres, HBO has set up a panel for Silicon Valley with the stars of the show along with executive producers Mike Judge (King of The Hill) and Alec Berg. (The Hollywood Reporter)

A&E, which gave Unforgettable a fourth season after CBS canceled it, has canceled the show; no other studio has stepped in to save it, so this may be the end of the line. (Deadline)

Lifetime has ordered more Dance Moms, Bring It! and The Rap Game, and set premiere dates for the new seasons of Little Women: Terra’s Little Family and Atlanta Plastic. (Deadline)

True Blood meatcake Joe Manganiello has reportedly signed a one-year deal to co-star in HISTORY’s new scripted series Six. The show will center around Navy SEAL Team Six, whose 2014 mission to take out a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes south when they realize a U.S. citizen is working with the terrorists. Manganiello will play an aggressive military man who was once the squad leader of SEAL Team Six, but is now working in Africa to protect a small village from Boko Haram. (Deadline)

Just when you thought the idea of Bill Hader’s new HBO comedy Barry couldn’t get any better, Henry Winkler joins the cast. Hader stars as the title character, a former marine turned low-rent hit man in the midwest who finds himself at home among a group of hopeful actors in the L.A. theatre scene. Among the group will be Winkler as an inspiring acting teacher. (Deadline)

Newly transformed truTV – their focus is comedy now – has greenlit a quick turnaround for a new show called Late Night Snack. The series will be made up of several shorts, including some from Alec Baldwin and Esther Povitsky, and has been ordered for 10 half-hour episodes, set to premiere March 6 at 11pm. (Deadline)

HISTORY has decided to mix up their intense programming – like Vikings and the coming-soon Six – by launching into comedy. Its new short-form comedy block, Night Class, will premiere with three series: Great Minds With Dan Harmon will feature the Community and Rick and Morty creator traveling through time to interview historical figures played by the likes of Jack Black, Jason Sudeikis and Sarah Silverman; Crossroads of History will examine historically accurate unknown moments in history that shaped the world, like Abraham Lincoln’s alcoholic bodyguard; and How To Lose The Presidency, will showcase real clips of real presidential candidates who ruined their chances at becoming the next President of the United States. Despite mixed reviews and an underwhelming 764,000 total viewers for the series premiere this past Sunday, HBO’s new rock drama Vinyl has been renewed after just one episode. (Deadline)
