Starting today, Sling TV supports Google’s Chromecast, making it even more convenient for customers to stream the best live and on-demand programming to their TVs using their Android smart phones and tablets, iPhones and iPads. And don’t worry, Windows and Mac casters, we’re working on future compatibility for your laptops as well.

A few weeks ago, we let everyone know that Sling TV was coming soon to Chromecast. The response has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic, and our team has worked hard to launch a Chromecast-compatible app as soon as possible. Today, we are live!
Since the app is brand new, there are a few temporary limitations and known issues we want our customers to know about. I want to emphasize that we are aware of the below issues and our team is actively working on fixes. It’s a big news day for our friends at Google. Among the many announcements shared during their press event this morning, you may have heard the words “Sling TV.”
What does Sling TV have in common with Google today? One word: Chromecast.
Chromecast has been one of our most requested devices since we first launched Sling TV in February. And today, I’m happy to officially announce that we plan to add Chromecast to Sling TV’s supported device lineup in the coming weeks.
At launch, Sling TV on Chromecast will work with the gadgets you already own, including Android smartphones and tablets, iPhones and iPads. We’re also working on future compatibility for Windows and Macs.
