NBA on Sling TV: Rose, CP3, & Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Will he be back or won’t he?
Chicago’s Derrick Rose said he’d “probably” return this week and it just so happens that on Thursday the Bulls play the Heat on TBS. Lucky us!
“If anything, I’m just trying to get my mental (approach) together so when I come back it won’t be like my previous times,” the former MVP said about his third comeback from knee surgery. “I think I was away from the game too long (during) previous injuries, and with me missing five, six, seven weeks now, I think that my return is about to be (smoother).”
Miami still has a chance at landing a playoff spot despite being nine gems under .500 as of this writing, but the Rose-less Bulls are coming off a big win over the Cavs, 99-94, in Cleveland and seem to be finding a stride.
“I think we’re a confident group,” Joakim Noah said after the win. “And it would be great to play them in the playoffs. It would be very, very exciting, something that I really hope happens.”
