WHAT'S ON

NBA on Sling TV

Feb 23, 2015 by Sling Staff

With seven NBA games on Sling TV this week, how will you ever decide which one to watch? That’s a trick question. You don’t have to choose. You can watch all of them, and all of them means you’ll get to see OKC three times on the road against Phoenix, Portland, and the Lakers; and Portland twice at home against the Spurs and the Thunder. And a lot of other great action, too.

Here are a few more NBA questions to ponder this week.

Wednesday, Feb. 25
LA Clippers at Houston, 8pm EST (ESPN)

The Rockets jettisoned Isaiah Canaan and Alexey Shved and added guards Pablo Prigioni and the high-flying K.J. McDaniels (below) at the trade deadline. Will the bolstered bench be enough to overcome the Clippers? Magic 8 ball says: CONCENTRATE AND ASK AGAIN

San Antonio at Portland, 10:30pm EST (ESPN)

The Trailblazers recently acquired Arron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee from Denver. Can they make a difference against the Spurs? Magic 8 ball says: DON’T COUNT ON IT

Thursday, Feb. 26
Golden State at Cleveland, 8pm EST (TNT)

The Warriors have the best record in the west. Will they send message to King James that the crown is theirs? Magic 8 ball says: BETTER NOT TELL YOU NOW

Oklahoma City at Phoenix, 10:30pm EST (TNT)

The Suns can light up the scoreboard but can they defend against the Thunder? Magic 8 ball says: OUTLOOK NOT SO GOOD

Friday, Feb. 27
Miami at New Orleans, 8pm EST (ESPN)

Both teams are on the fringes of the playoffs. Do either have what it takes? Magic 8 Ball says: OUTLOOK GOOD

Oklahoma City at Portland, 10:30pm EST (ESPN)

The Thunder said goodbye to Reggie Jackson and Kendrick Perkins but said hello to Enes Kanter, DJ Augustin, Kyle Singler and Steve Novak. How much will this help OKC against the Blazers? Magic 8 Ball says: BETTER NOT TELL YOU NOW

Sunday, March 1
Oklahoma City at LA Lakers, 6:30pm EST (ESPN)

Update: This game is blocked from Sling TV due to programming rights. However, you can access the game via the WatchESPN app with your Sling TV login and password if you live outside of Oklahoma City.

The Lakers have been terrible on the road and not much better at home. Will this game possibly increase their odds of landing the first pick in the draft? Magic 8 Ball says: AS I SEE IT YES
