All Is Lost (EPIX) - Nominated for a slew of awards in 2013, including a Golden Globe for Best Actor and an Academy Award for best Sound Editing, All Is Lost centers around a veteran mariner (Robert Redford), who takes on the Indian Ocean alone. Redford delivers a great solo performance as a sailor, who finds himself in over his head – almost literally – when he wakes to his vessel taking on water after colliding with a stray ship container. After his radio and navigation equipment fails him, he unknowingly sails into a violent storm and is forced to fight for survival as his supplies begins to dwindle.
