They’re coming! CSNs to Arrive by Opening Day

Mar 02, 2017 by Ankit Bishnoi

Spring is nearly here, and if you’re like me, that means you’re already thinking about baseball season. I know many of you are carefully considering how you’ll be watching your favorite team this season and others have asked specifically about NBC Regional Sports Networks (CSN) on Sling TV.

Today I’m happy to share that sports fans in the Bay Area, Sacramento, Chicago and Mid-Atlantic markets will have access to CSN programming by Major League Baseball’s 2017 Opening Day, April 2. Since we originally announced the coming addition of the CSNs, our team has continued to work closely with our programming partners to bring you these networks. We appreciate your continued support and patience while we worked to add CSN Bay Area, CSN California, CSN Chicago and CSN Mid-Atlantic.

When these networks launch, they will be available to all Sling Blue customers who live in eligible markets at no additional cost, which makes Sling Blue at $25 per month the cheapest way to access these channels.

Access to even more MLB
Don’t live in one of the above markets? Sling TV brings you nationally broadcasted MLB games all season long on TBS, ESPN, FOX and FS1. In addition to the national games, select Sling Blue customers living in the following markets will have access to their favorite teams: FOX Sports Cincinnati, FOX Sports Detroit, FOX Sports North, FOX Sports Prime Ticket, FOX Sports San Diego, FOX Sports Southeast, FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Sun, SportsTime Ohio and YES Network. While FOX Sports Ohio doesn’t carry MLB games, it is also available to eligible customers.

NBA and NHL on NBC Regional Sports Networks Major League Baseball isn’t the only sport that the CSNs offer. Basketball and hockey fans will also be able to enjoy NBA and NHL action for the remainder of the regular season, plus catch first round playoff action on their NBC Regional Sports Network. So, if you live in Northern California and root for the Golden State Warriors or the San Francisco Giants, we’ve got you covered. Prefer the ice rink and cheering on your San Jose Sharks? You can have that, too! Live in Chicago and can’t wait to see the Cubs back in action, but don’t want to miss the Blackhawks attempt to add a seventh Stanley cup? Together, Sling TV and CSN Chicago bring you those teams and more. And for all our Mid-Atlantic customers, CSN Mid-Atlantic brings you the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals, both playing well this season!

We’ll have more to share as soon as these channels launch, so to keep up with the latest from Sling, bookmark this blog, like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter (@Sling)!
