Recap: Sling TV Celebrates its Second Birthday
In case you missed me earlier on Periscope, it’s a big day for the team here at Sling TV. Today we officially turned two, and I’m extremely proud of the whole Sling TV team for accomplishing so much since our launch in February 2015. Just a few years ago, nothing like Sling TV existed – we were the first to bring you live TV from your favorite channels over the Internet at an affordable price (still $20 per month!), and we’ve continued to lead the OTT industry with our unique model, new programming and innovative features. Like our team shared earlier today on Periscope, we started with only one base service, three extras and just over 25 channels. Today, we have two base services, seven extras, three premiums and well over 100 channels for our customers to enjoy (not to mention over 30,000 on-demand titles). Each year just gets better and better, and I can’t wait to roll out everything we have in store for 2017.

In honor of our second birthday, we are celebrating new and existing customers all month long. DVR Update
Today I also announced that we’ll be rolling out DVR to more devices – if you have an Amazon, Android TV or Android mobile device, you have a lot to look forward to soon.
