Keep the Kids Entertained for Hours with Sling Kids On-demand Channel

Nov 02, 2016 by Glenn Eisen

As a father of four children, trust me when I say I know the importance of quality content for kids on TV. There’s just something about cartoons on a Saturday morning that gets our weekends started right. And while Sling TV already offers a variety of kid-friendly channels including NickToons, TeenNick, Boomerang, Baby TV, Kaboom, Disney Junior and Nick Jr., our new “Sling Kids” content adds more than 200 on-demand TV shows and movies for kids of all ages. This is a great value for busy families who want to entertain children both at home and on the go. Starting today, Sling Kids is available as part of the “Kids Extra” add-on pack at $5 per month for Sling Orange and Sling Blue subscribers, Sling Kids will now appear as a new channel in the guide, featuring over 200 on-demand TV shows. Organized by age group, Sling Kids will offer content that is both entertaining and appropriate for your children.

Age-appropriate Navigation
With more than 200 titles on Sling Kids, we wanted to make it as easy as possible for kids and parents to find the most age-appropriate shows and movies. The content from Sling Kids is organized by age group categories in an easy-to-navigate format, directly within the channel. Parents can be confident that their child can watch programs within in their own age group category without coming across programs that are not age appropriate. Sling Kids provides entertainment specifically curated for ages 2-4, 5-7 8-11 and 12+.

New Content
Available in the Kids Extra pack, priced at $5 per month, Sling Kids will include on-demand content from Kabillion, Kaboom and Splash. Your children can look forward to shows like “Sonic X” and “Chloe’s Closet,” as well as movies like “The Missing Lynx” and “My Friend Bernard.”

Aside from new on-demand content on Sling Kids, the Kids Extra add-on pack includes a variety of live and on-demand shows for kids. Sling Blue Kids Extra includes programming from networks including NickToons, TeenNick and Boomerang, while Sling Orange Kids Extra includes content from Disney Junior, Nick Jr., Baby TV and more.
