Introducing “Optimized for Sling TV” – a new way to shop for your streaming devices
We’re here in Las Vegas getting ready for CES 2017, and just announced the latest Sling TV news – a new certification program that will improve your entertainment experience, called “Optimized for Sling TV.”
“Optimized for Sling TV” is a certification program that ensures you have an optimal Sling TV experience, so we’re giving our stamp of approval on devices and platforms like the new AirTV Player and Xiaomi’s Mi Box, to make it easier than ever to choose a streaming device.
What makes these devices different than others? We look at a variety of criteria that impact your experience, like auto-launching Sling TV when the device is turned on, adding a Sling TV button to the remote, integrating over-the-air content into the Sling TV guide and supporting the most updated build of Sling TV, so that you get access to our latest features.
We hope to add new devices and platforms to the “Optimized for Sling” program over the coming months – look out for the program’s logo when you’re buying your next device to ensure you’re getting an optimal Sling TV experience!
