DishWorld is now Sling International, bringing you more content and an enhanced experience
The big day is finally here – today we welcome all DishWorld customers to Sling International! This transition gives you access to all of your favorite channels from DishWorld, and the added ability to watch U.S. entertainment from Sling TV and an enhanced user experience.
What’s new?
As a current DishWorld customer, you’ll notice a few changes as you begin to use Sling International. Today you will have access to channels in 18 languages, including the newly added Bengali, Kannada and Marathi language groups. In addition to your favorite international programming, you can subscribe to top U.S. entertainment like ESPN, AMC, TNT and Food Network through Sling TV.
Plus, you can watch your content on even more devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick and Xbox One, in addition to the Roku, Mac, PC, iOS and Android devices that you previously used with DishWorld. If you’re a DishWorld customer using a Samsung Smart TV, you will still be able to access content through the existing DishWorld app, but don’t worry, a Sling International app is coming soon for select Samsung Smart TVs.
How does it work?
If you’re wondering how to get all of Sling International’s great new features, it’s easy! Starting today, you will be prompted during the DishWorld login to update to the new Sling International app. If you’re on a Roku player, you won’t need to re-log in to your account. Once complete, you will experience the new Sling TV user interface, which is easy to use and controlled by simply swiping and scrolling. After you’ve updated to the Sling International app, the old DishWorld app will automatically be removed from your device.
