Congratulations, Sruta!
Since Sling TV’s launch, our team has worked relentlessly to deliver on the promise of a new entertainment experience. This journey has been challenging but equally gratifying. With every passing day, Sling TV continues to deliver a revolutionary service, and that is in large part because of the leadership exhibited by our Vice President of Business Development and Operations, Sruta Vootukuru. I have asked her to step into a number of different roles and she has skillfully handled each new opportunity.
Since day one, Sruta has played an integral part of our Sling TV team and, as such, owns as much of the creation of Sling TV as anyone, helping build our service from the ground up. She has helped build, mentor and shape the Sling TV team that ultimately created our service from the ground up.
While I get to witness the “above-and-beyond” contributions Sruta makes on a daily basis, it is with great pride that our industry has also recognized her great work. I am so excited that she was named by Cablefax, one of the leading voices in our industry, as one of this year’s “most powerful women in the TV industry”.
Our service and team would not be where they are today without her leadership. Please join me and the entire Sling TV team in congratulating Sruta on this incredible recognition.
